Take Time Out with the Family

In today’s demanding world, it can be difficult to spend time together as a family. Even if we have the time available, we may not always have the budget.

Fortunately, not every family gathering has to come with a hefty price tag, as local events are the ideal way of spending time with loved ones, as well as making new friends in the process.

The Northampton Town Festival is the ideal gathering for those nearby, and the number of stalls and events available means that there’s something for everyone.

Families can enjoy a series of events on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July, making it the ideal time for that much-needed family break.

Some of the events and stalls include the following, but there is so much more planned, so makes sure to pop along.

Bond Over Saturday Night Fireworks

There’s nothing quite like looking at the night sky and becoming immersed in a partnership of sights and sounds that captivates us every time. Fireworks are usually only seen a few times of the year. Fortunately, fans of firework displays can come together and watch their favourite formations explodes with their loved ones.

Enjoy the Excitement of Live Stunts

Although fireworks can be exciting, some may have a larger appetite to fill when it comes to adrenaline and excitement. Fear not, as the Vander Wheel of Death ticks all the boxes. This 9-metre steel structure is spun around by professional stuntmen as they perform their own tricks while the wheel is in motion. This adrenaline-inducing performance will have you gripped with excitement as you view a performance that must be seen to be believed, and even then, you may struggle.

If that wasn’t enough, Stannage Stunts- a family of stunt performers will be carrying out some death-defying acts. Fighting with fire and a large array of motorcycle stunts.

Motorcycle stunts are always a winner, which is why we also have Jamie Squibb and his team of riders performing some breathtaking jumps and stunts mid-air!

Create Your Own Thrills on the Funfair

There’s no denying that the live entertainment will be a sight to behold, but others like to get their kicks from the thrill of the funfair. Once again, the Northampton Town Festival has you covered.

Regardless of whether you’re looking for more laidback rides that can be enjoyed with the younger children, or you want something with a little more kick, you can be confident that there’s something for you at the Northampton Town Festival funfair.

Plenty to Eat and Drink

Family get-togethers and groups of friends are well catered for at the Northampton Town Festival. There are a series of stalls offering a vast selection of food, as well as plenty of options in relation to beverages.

Awe at the Hot Air Balloon Glow (Saturday only- weather permitting)

Hot air balloon festivals are amazing at the best of times but seeing the hot air balloons carry out their journey in the night sky is really something to behold.

Not only does the Hot Air Balloon Glow offer a treat for the eyes, but it also has a calming and relaxing ambience that really reinforces the importance of being together.

Whatever you and the family enjoy, there’s something for everyone at the Northampton Town Festival
