Traders Galore at The Northampton Town Festival!

Are you ready for Northampton Town Festival? As you know, we have the hot air balloons, the funfair rides, live acts and stunt acts, but did you also know we have traders galore over the entire weekend of July 7th-8th? With so many great traders to see, you’ll be spoilt for choice and here’s just a few of the fantastic traders you can expect to see…

Love wine? Visit Pieroth Wine Ltd purveyors of fine wines and 340 years of family tradition behind them. They also offer home wine tastings which are as fun as they sound!

Other purveyors of tasty food and drink include, Phipps Brewery, Northampton based, commercial brewers, Natures Fayre  who offers a selection of honey based products including pure honey, preserves, chutneys and sauces. Friars Farm also make homemade jams, chutneys and syrups to name a few and if you fancy some cheese to go with those chutneys, stop by Nibble Nose Cheese who do a whole range of delicious cheeses. Or how about artisan products such as chilli jam, barbecue sauces and vinegars from Bickertons?

Got a sweet tooth? You won’t be able to resist sweet offerings from traders such as Ridiculously Rich who make all their own cakes and chocolates. Other candy rich offerings include Fudge and Sweets, Slush Man and the Milk Shake Shack.

Meat lovers will love to stop by Old School Sausages – a family owned, local company whose gourmet sausages are based on a 1930’s recipe that uses hand-trimmed cuts of pork shoulder, toasted breadcrumbs and quality seasonings.

These and many more, such as Riverford Organics (gorgeous fruit and veg!) and Replete Flatbreads (which are gourmet quality flatbreads that taste utterly divine…) will also be there.

Charities such as The British Legion, Air Ambulance and Northants Community Responders will also be there as well as Nanna Animal Rescue and Dog Show – Nanna runs a fantastic charity that rescues and looks after animals that need nurturing and adoption. Come along and see some of the lovely pooches she has – you’ll fall in love! Or, if you’re more of a cat lover, Cats Protection will also be there.

If you’re local, you may have heard of a wonderful organisation called Elsie’s Café, a ‘pay as you feel’ organisation that serves tasty, full of goodness meals from food rescued from going to waste.

See you there? Oh and car lovers can also have a chat to companies such as Westaway MotorsSteven Eagell Toyota and Vauxhall Motors or, if you’re looking for breakdown assistance, check out Autohome Ltd!
