Duston German Shepherd Dog Training Club

We have another treat for you at Northampton Town Festival!  Duston German Shepherd Dog Training Club will be blessing us with their presence!

The Duston German Shepherd Dog Training Club (DGSDTC) was formed in 1984. The Club is open to all owners of pedigree German Shepherd Dogs, however they also accept dogs without pedigree papers e.g. dogs that have been re-homed, rescued etc.

In addition to German Shepherd training, the Club also has a dog display team called the Pacesetters. This dog display team is made up of Club members, who, once their German Shepherd is trained to an advanced standard, wish to show off to the public the full potential of what the German Shepherd Dog is capable of.

German Shepherd Dog Addiction

“The PACESETTERS Dog Display Team is part of the Duston German Shepherd Dog Training Club.

We have been giving displays for the last 32 years, all money raised by the Display Team is donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind, to-date we have raised a total of approximately £52,000.

The Club also raises money for other Charities i.e., Help the heroes, Detection Dogs plus others.

Apart from giving displays locally, we have also given displays in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Huntingdon.

We have bookings at various Events this year.   All the dogs in the Team are owned by the handlers and are family pets.”
